Bajaj Finserv offers card protection plan

Bajaj Finserv Lending has announced its tie up with CPP India to provide its customers CPP's card protection plan, an assistance service enabling cardholders to protect themselves in the event of card loss or theft and resultant fraud and distress.
CPP's card protection will hence provide Bajaj Finserv Lending's customers with a single plan to protect all types of plastics ranging from credit, debit, as well as non-financial cards such as retail, loyalty and membership cards irrespective of their various issuers and banks. In addition, the service will also provide card members with access to a range of assistance services like lost PAN, card replacement, emergency hotel and travel assistance, lost SIM card (mobile phone) blocking and access to a foreign language interpreter who can help customers communicate in foreign language in case of an emergency.
"CPP India's card protection is a holistic solution for consumers who use and depend on the plastic money to make regular daily payments and travel extensively. With debit and credit cards fast emerging as the preferred mode of payments and transactions amongst Indian consumers, we identified the growing need for a solution that provided our customers the convenience, and assistance in the event of their plastics being lost or stolen. A global solution provider like CPP India will be able to address this gap as well as re-assure our customers wherever and whenever they might need it," says Ashish Panchal, business head credit cards and salaried personal loans, Bajaj Finserv Lending.
